Hi, I’m Alyse — a corporate finance professional, strategist, and founder of Financially Rooted.
After nearly a decade of working at leading institutions like JPMorgan Chase and Darden Restaurants, I gained firsthand insight into how financial systems operate from the inside. I’ve led everything from multimillion-dollar capital analyses and budgeting across national restaurant brands to regulatory reporting for global investment banking.
But even with all my experience, I knew something was missing, especially for people who look like me. Conversations around money weren’t inclusive, and financial literacy wasn’t meeting the real-life needs of Black professionals navigating careers, family, and legacy-building.
So I created Financially Rooted - a space where we bring structure, clarity, and empowerment to your financial life. My goal is to bridge the gap between corporate-level finance tools and the everyday decisions that contribute to building generational wealth.
I don’t believe in fluff or fear tactics. I believe in education, equity, and helping you feel in control of your money, not the other way around.
